Final Details #JMrussell

June 29 has snuck up on my like a…I don’t know. Something sneaky.

But here it is! Just two days away. I’ve had such an incredible seven months of celebrating with our friends and families. Jonathan and I are so blessed and supported…there just aren’t even words to describe. Even my new coworkers surprised me with insane cupcakes and a sweet card and gift!

So in these final days, I’m pulling together just a few final details. I’m not stressed – just excited but not wanting to wish any of it away. I plan to relax and enjoy every moment with my girlfriends, my family, and my (almost) HUSBAND.

If you are reading this AND attending our wedding (mom) be ready to use #JMrussell on instagram all night. We would really love for everyone, including us, to be able to catch a nice glimpse of the night the next day.

Here are a few last final pieces…

I put together my ribbon bouquet from the multitude of shower gift ribbons.

I wrapped presents for our bridal party and parents (all of which I am PUMPED to give. I think we did good).

And of course, I curled up with Harry and Sally to get in the true love mood. You don’t need a picture of that to know what I mean…

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and the thing is, I love you…

Classic Steakhouse Cooking Class {Viking}

Last Christmas, my mom gifted Jonathan and I with a very generous gift card the Viking, so that we could enjoy a cooking class together!

We browsed their courses many times, and finally settled on a menu that seemed like something we would both enjoy: A Classic Steakhouse Menu. We made bacon-wrapped filet mignon, crab stuffed mushrooms, double baked potatoes, roasted asparagus, iceberg wedges with homemade blue cheese dressing, and we even attempted bernaise sauce, but it was a big fat fail…who knew it was so hard!

Here are a few iPhone photos for you to enjoy…

What are you making for the Super Bowl?

Carli reminded me that the Super Bowl is quickly approaching, and I need to decide what I’m making for our party!  Katy is making jambalaya, Ashley is making a delicious dip…I’m thinking I may need to find some sort of tasty cheesey corn bread recipe.  Do you have an amazing corn bread recipe for me to try? If so, please share!!

I think I may also need to make some of Grandma’s peanut butter bars

YUM!!  I’ll report back next Tuesday 🙂
