Food Photography Lighting Workshop

Last week, Lu and I attended a very cool workshop here in Nashville at one of the best restaurants in town — Fido’s.

I always knew their food was amazing, but I had no idea how very talented their head chef was. Our photographer instructor talked to us about all of our questions and showed us several lighting setups.

Meanwhile, we were served a four course meal, including a goat cheese stuffed fig, an amazing winter salad, chicken with butternut squash puree, and their R-rated chocolate cake. We all snapped a few photos of our meal as we went. It was a great experience, and I can’t wait to take some more classes!

  1. That’s so interesting that they hosted a “food lighting workshop”! Sometimes, I see food pictures and think about how nasty the food looks, even though I know it’s delicious. I know of some Nashville restaurants that could now use your services…
