Wisconsin Wedding Reception {Round Two}

We were so lucky to have not one but TWO wedding celebrations. Four weeks after getting married in Nashville, and celebrating a beautiful day with our family and friends, my family hosted a second party in my home state of Wisconsin. It was such a fun way to celebrate with friends and family who would not have made the trip to Nashville, but who have been such an important part of my life and my parents’ lives over the years. You may not know who these people are…but I’m sharing a few pictures anyway! (And stay tuned for a look at our wedding pictures tomorrow!!)

One of the biggest treats of the weekend was to stay at the most classic Bed and Breakfast in my home town. I have always wanted to stay there, and it was so special to have a mini-honeymoon there!

They were so sweet, and even had a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room!

And can you beat this view of my favorite little town?

Then, at the party, we used many of the decorations from our wedding to decorate the space. We had great food, gorgeous weather, and so much fun dancing and chit chatting with everyone! We even got my grandma out on the dance floor in her wheelchair. All in all, a great night! DSC_0019 DSC_0020{Welcoming my grandparents}

Miles {2 Years Old}

I had SO much fun last weekend shooting a few photos of little two-year-old Miles! Mostly, I loved his hammy little personality and the joy this little family brought to a rainy day in the park! It is so fun for me to see them have so much fun together…how can you beat this??

St. Patricks {Wisconsin}

I made a quick weekend trip home over St. Patty’s, and in spite of a pretty nasty cold, I had a good time running around with my parents. I was supposed to run a St. Patrick’s 5K on Sunday, but the combination of my congested head and the 20 degree weather outside made me say, “yeah, no.” But my dad, stepmom, and I still met up with the whole 5K through (there was a team from my stepmom’s office) and enjoyed a little green beer, bag pipes, and general merriment. Here’s a few pictures I wanted to share!

Union Station {Photo}

If you are familiar with Nashville, then you are familiar with the beautiful Union Station hotel. Earlier this week, I went on a little photography adventure to capture some shots of Nashville for a little wedding project I’m working on. I wanted to share with you this shot of Union Station – the sun was perfectly behind the tower, and I’m in love with sepia coloring these days…

Abram {3 weeks}

Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, I set out to practice my newborn photography skills. I’ve never photographed a really, really little one, and my friend Ashley was more than happy to let me use her 3-week-old son, Abram, as a subject. So here are a few of my favorites! Feel free to check out more of these and also my other photos at my portfolio site, http://meghanelizabeth.zenfolio.com/hazy
