Where The Crawdads Sing {Book Review}

I have been inhaling books lately – but true confessions, I listen to most of them on my commute! Seriously, if you can get used to the whole audio book thing, it’s AMAZING. There are just so many wonderful stories out there, I want to consume them in any way I can.

I jumped on the bandwagon to read Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, and it did not disappoint. I loved listening to it because I felt the narrator did a great job with her very rural North Carolina accent, and it really added a nice dimension to the characters for me.

Named as one of Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine Book Club selections, it has gotten a ton of attention. And while there are sections of it that don’t quite live up, but overall there is so much beautiful, poetic writing, with a few sweet surprises and twists along the way. Check it out and let me know what you think!
