More homemade protein bar experimentations! This week’s recipe comes from From Fries to Fit with just a few small tweaks. I used regular honey instead of sugar-free (trying to be more natural over here), and I was out of vanilla so I used almond. It gave these bars a nice almond flavor that I happen to really like.
With my tweaks, each bar has about 100 calories, less than 1 gram of fat, and 12 grams of protein. There is 7 grams of sugar in each, but at least it’s natural, right?
