  1. I LOVE maple scones! I used to live in Montpelier, Vermont, and to me, nothing says breakfast like real maple syrup, I adore the stuff!
    NEXT time, throw in some lightly toasted pecans right before you add the wet ingredients. Seriously adds just that ‘je ne sais quoi’ to an already delightful treat. OK, you need to go make these again right now, don’t you? 🙂
    I prefer the ‘look’ of the first scones, because the glaze was more of a glaze than an icing. But, either way is lush, I’m sure!
