Maple Scones

These were our very special Easter morning breakfast treat, and OH MY GOODNESS were they perfection.

First, I love a scone like no one else I know.  I mean, given the choice of any breakfast pastry in the whole world, and I will most definitely choose a scone dipped in coffee.  So when I stumbled on this recipe for maple scones, it was love at first sight.  I mean, maybe it was the maple glaze…

And I was right.  Love.  It is in these scones.  And in this coffee.

I hope you all had a marvelous, sugar-infused, scone-encrusted sort of Easter.  I know I did!!
