Cheesy? yes. Well, cherry-y. I must admit I bought this cherry pie filling from Door County, WI back in the fall and have been DYING to use it. So when I saw this idea out in cyber world, I was like, “I can do that!” So I did.
So I present you with a Valentine’s Day Pie! Pre-bake photo:
The crust turned out to be delicious–I found it over on Food Network and I highly recommend it.
There was but a brief moment between the removing of the pie from the oven and the slicing of the pie for our tummies. Thanks to special guest photographer Geoff for capturing the fleeting moment:
