Graduate School Begins

One of the items on my 101 in 1001 list was to apply for graduate school.  Well, I did that, and here I am about to start a Master’s program in Organizational Leadership.  On a part time schedule, I’ll be taking two classes each semester, for six semesters, allowing me to complete my 36-hour program in two years while still working full time.  Yikes!

Well, I guess it isn’t too bad when you consider that with my classes starting this Friday, I’ve been doing lots of reading…and really loving the material so far!  I am really looking forward to studying specific topics in each class, and hopefully most of them (maybe all of them?) will be topics I am actually interested in!  No more liberal arts requirements here.  Who has two thumbs and hates history?  *This girl*

All in all, I am pretty pumped to get this ball rolling and stay settled in Nashville for the next two years.  And from there…who knows?
